Overview

Claims are typically processed within 1-2 business days of submission. You will be notified if additional information/documentation is needed to approve your claim or if your claim was denied. If you file a claim that is in excess of your available balance, you will receive an automatic system-generated denial letter for the portion in excess of your account balance.

Check the Status of a Claim

You can check the status of your claim and view secured messages regarding your claim through the Vita Flex consumer portal:

  • Log on to www.vitaflex.net

  • Navigate to the Accounts

  • Select the Claims

  • Your existing claims will populate on the screen.

  • Search for your claim by setting filters for account type, claim status, or receipt status.

  • To view additional claim details, click the plus (+) sign next to the date of service.

  • Please visit the message center to see a detailed request of what actions need to be taken for a claim to be approved.

Check the Status of a Reimbursement

You can check the status of your claim reimbursement and view secured messages regarding your claim through the Vita Flex consumer portal:

  • Log on to www.vitaflex.net

  • Navigate to the Accounts

  • Select the Payments

  • Reimbursements will be listed by the date of payment.

  • To view additional reimbursement details, click the plus (+) sign next to the reimbursement date.

Timing of Reimbursements

Approved distributions are processed every Friday. If your claim was approved by Tuesday, your reimbursement will be scheduled for reimbursement on Friday of the same week. If your claim was not approved by Tuesday, then your reimbursement will be scheduled for the following Friday.
